This is a quality product - the hooks and swivel in particular are a cut above most other spinnerbaits and justify the higher cost. The size is also just right for the assigned task - white (or yellow) perch, small stripers. Obviously it will catch bass and other adjacent species too. Therefore it warrants inclusion in my tackle box, which is precious space now that I've quit bringing large amounts of tackle on trips. Full disclosure - I call this the "Perch Pounder" - I misread the name initially and by the time I recognized my mistake it was too late, the die was cast.

There a good bait to use for perch but keep an eye on the blade as it get tangled sometimes.
